Fall, 2017, Newsletter from your “Writer on the Run

Your, Writer on the Run took a much needed summer off from book events. My last event was at Indigo in Hamilton on July 9th, and it was an extreme success! My book launch on June 9th was an overwhelming tribute to my fans as they showed up in droves to obtain the newest release in the Night’s Vampire Series – Night’s Betrayals, plus the first book in the Detective Toby Series – Are You Listening to Me? For those with children and grandchildren, fans were delighted at the release of nine Just Imagine Children’s Stories/Histoires pour enfants in full colour! Now there is a choice – full colour or colouring book editions! Kate Pellerin did the illustrations for six of the nine bilingual books. Other favorites, released in 2016, but never given their dues were a short story collection, Mysteries From the Keys and a new poetry collection, picking up the pieces.

I am excited to announce the release of three new children’s picture books:

The Seahorse and the Little Girl With Big Blue Eyes

The Official Tickler

The Old Woman of the Mountain

Illustrations by Jennifer Bettio, a Cambridge, Ontario artist.

Great reviews have been forthcoming for the new books released earlier this year. I am grateful to all the readers who have enjoyed my books and have taken the time to send me testimonials. An author can never have too many testimonials, so if you haven’t already done so, please feel free to post a comment under your favorite book(s)! Please feel free to share this newsletter with anyone you know who loves reading!

I know I thought I was going to be able to get you the next book in the Night’s Vampire Series this fall, but due to time constraints, I will not have it out until 2018 – but I guarantee you “Night’s Revelations” will be well worth the wait!

At this point, I would like to take a moment and wish all my fans a wonderful and safe fall season. Enjoy your Thanksgiving and Halloween, and take a moment in November to remember the brave men who have fought so valiantly for our freedoms.
