Learn more about Mary

Love for the written word began at a very early age for Mary. Daydreamer was the description her teachers would write on her report cards – little did they know that the seeds of great writings to come were germinating in the caverns of Mary’s mind and that her ultimate goal in life was to become a great Canadian author!

What is it that Mary & Regina love to do?

They love to write stories for your reading pleasure!

Mary & Regina participate in aqua fit classes once or twice a week, having fun while attempting to stay fit – LOL!

They both are avid readers, as well, because they know reading other good authors can only improve their own craft!

What does Regina do during the day?

She runs a home daycare. The many children Regina cares for, with their daily antics, have inspired her children’s picture books, especially the title, “After Crying, Try Trying!”

What does Mary do during the day?

She is semi-retired; however, she has returned to school to study script writing, hoping to adapt some of her novels into TV series or movies.

Do Mary & Regina write together?

No! However, they brainstorm ideas and discuss current projects, always encouraging each other to pursue their dream of writing! You will find them reading first drafts for each other and editing their work together, joking about how two heads equal one brain!

A True Masterpiece, Bravo!

Cushnie-Mansour does it again, dominating every genre she pens, whether children’s, mystery, poetry, short stories, fantasy, or realistic fiction. In Hope’s Merry-Go-Round” we are introduced to a lovely, but anguished heroine, Hope. As you follow her healing journey, crying and laughing with her, but always rooting for Hope to heal and move on from her past abuse. Her friendship with Cooper is remarkable, and her sessions with her therapist, Laurie, are a treasure to read. Despite the sorrow, this story gives us hope that life can be filled with healing and happiness, even after the darkest of times!
