Remember when we were children and we would pick a dandelion or a daisy, or maybe a tulip from our mother’s garden, and we would stick it in our hair and dance around the yard? When we thought we were a beautiful princess? When we had not a care in the world? When all was well because it was, because we felt loved and secure? And the flowers were so beautiful? And we would pick an extra flower or two and give them to our mom? And our mom would put that wild flower in a little glass of water, as though it were the most precious gift she had ever received?  Remember? Well, as you remember, now, take a moment and put a flower in your hair and dance…it’s okay, even if you are all grown up…you are still a beautiful princess…Happy Friday – your “Writer on the Run” who is dancing with a flower in her hair!
