The Grand River Grannies have invited me to bring my books to their fundraising event. You might ask me why they would do that … well, it is simple. The “Night’s Vampire Series” was birthed at Yates Castle – the inspiration for the original short story I was going to write. The Talos family has been wonderful, allowing me a tour through some of the castle, and also allowing me to use pictures of the castle on my covers!

I will be donating a portion of any sales to the fundraiser, and will also have some of my other books there for attendees to puruse through. The new “Detective Toby Series” will be available, plus all my “Just Imagine Children’s Books,” youth novels, collections of short stories and poetry, and a biography of the first female lawyer in Lindsay, Ontario.

If you will be attending this event, the Grand River Grannies ask you to R.S.V.P. to 519-750-4250 or email sbutchergrg@gmail.com so they can assure enough tea and goodies!

Be sure to spread the word. Have a wonderful day, from Mary M. Cushnie-Mansour, your, Writer on the Run
