A THRILLING TALE!

Canadian Author, Mary M. Cushnie-Mansour, began the Musat family’s journey several years ago. What started as a short story to see who was living in a huge house (Yates Castle), which appeared abandoned, has taken Mary on quite the adventure – or should we say, Virginia. For it is Virginia who dared to peek in the window. It is Virginia who was frightened by what she saw. It is Virginia who captured the heart of an old-world vampire, the Count Basarab Musat, Dracula’s nephew. To know the rest of their story, you must start at the beginning.

The “Night’s Vampire Series” will not disappoint!

It is a vampire saga like none you have ever read!

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING ABOUT THE "NIGHT'S VAMPIRE SERIES"

Cushnie-Mansour masters the romance-horror genre. Horrific … passionate … She confronts your imagination with a mind spinning plot and a cast of mesmerizing characters. A necessary read if vampires intrigue you.

Mary is a consummate storyteller. She has created a tale of the Dracul family with the Night’s Vampire Series and has brought to life some of our darkest nightmares. At the same time, she has integrated a love story, and a story of strong family bonds that bind the series together. …

These skilfully written novels contain history, mystery, intrigue, and romance in a neat package that is not just entertaining but challenges your mind and imagination. What a story––what a movie they would make.

Never thought I would love a vampire series as much as I have enjoyed this series.

This series is a page turner! Be prepared for some late night reading as you won’t be able to put it down. These books have it all: murder, deceit, manipulation, terror, mystery, hate and of course love and sex. Mary has given us a thrilling ride that is addictive and will leave you begging for more.

Every time I open one of Cushnie-Mansour’s books, I see something truly special. There are few authors I have read that seem to have that innate talent for folding a story together like that of a master chef plying their craft. Reading the “Night’s Vampire Series” is an exhilarating experience! Life is full of real emotions and I found myself comparing the characters in this book with my own life. Samara is very much a “daddy’s girl.” Santan is wise and mature, yet defies his father’s wishes. The dynamics within Basarab and Randy’s families are interesting. Randy, although devoted to his human family, still holds lingering feelings for the life he might have had with Virginia, if it were not for Basarab. Thank you for the opportunity to delve into your fantastic mind and watch as a fairy tale of darkness and beauty unfolded on the pages!

By leaps and bounds, Cushnie-Mansour has woven complexity into the original story. This will continue to engage the classic vampirists, as well as the new wave enthusiasts. Way to bring in more historical aspects and spice things up! (Wonderful to have our local flavour and locales.) … Brenda Ann Wright, Writer

“Night’s Temptress” is a wonderful story about the complications of a vampire family. The story encompasses the difficulties of Basarab and Virginia’s children, growing up and not wanting to follow the path that has been chosen for them. Follow the journey of Santan and Samara and see how this beautiful tale unfolds. … Trisha Haines

Mary M. Cushnie-Mansour weaves a web with her characters that will draw you into this spin-off of the “Night’s Vampire Trilogy.” The vampire princess, Samara, proves she is a force to be reckoned with. Love her or hate her––her power, charm, and bloodthirsty drive will get this character under your skin. … Heather Carlson

Having finished reading “Night’s Temptress,” I can’t wait to read the next part. The language is lucid and flowing, and gives the reader ample room for imagination. The story has its own identity and can be read in itself, without being overshadowed by the “Night’s Vampire Trilogy.” Every character, their strengths and vulnerabilities, can be identified within our day to day lives, and this is what makes this story so alive and interesting. The description of the Scottish landscape further adds to the mystery. The best is the conclusion, which leaves the reader gasping for more––will Ákos survive to identify the one who tried to kill him? Wow! I yearn for more. “Night’s Temptress” was a great read, and it propels me further to read your other books. Please finish the story line, so your readers can reach a conclusion. (p.s. I would like to invite you to India, where you will find riots of material and plot for your work.) … Sunanda Ray

There will be vast appeal to readers who love Gothic subculture. There is infusion of enough Vampiric scenes to wholly satisfy. I loved that the author harkened back to the first three volumes, the “Night’s Vampire Trilogy,” and honed in on her original voice, continuing Count Basarab Musat’s family saga. It was a pleasure to read “Night’s Temptress.” … Brenda Wright

Adriana West – Five Stars – Awesome books, couldn’t put them down. Mary draws you into the books as if you are in the same room with her characters.

Maryanne Christoff – Five Stars – I have to say right from the beginning of the first book, “Night’s Gift,” I was in hook, line and sinker. Mary makes it so you can picture every character and room so clearly that you actually feel like you are in the room with them yelling, crying, and falling in love with the characters. What would you do if you were in Virginia’s place; you really need to read this series and let Mary take you on this scary but awesome adventure.

Kim Makarchuk – The “Night’s Series” is a page-turning twist on the classic vampire novel. Virginia’s plight is modern and fresh, while the count and his cast of characters are enduringly timeless.

Bethany Jamieson – Mary M. Cushnie-Mansour blends the real and the arcane seamlessly, taking an ageless fantasy and bringing it alive, quite literally in what could be your own backyard. Beautifully written, a must-read for any vampire lover.

Mariette Havens – Absolutely stunning and intense, Night’s Vampire Series is a very gripping series.

Brenda Ann Write – I enjoyed the historical aspects to this Gothic romance.

Judi Klink – Mary M. Cushnie-Mansour is an excellent storyteller who weaves a wonderfully suspenseful tale, one I found difficult to put down. Her eloquent description and plot design bring her characters alive and make us care what happens to them as the stories unfold. Great reads.

Jerusa Hunter – The Night’s Series brought the myth closer to reality. It is an excellent display of human emotions. The humanizing of evil is interesting and leaves one pondering. Virginia is the ultimate normality.

George Hatton – The Night’s Vampire Series tells a good tale and tells it well. I particularly liked the humanness of the characters – their strengths and weaknesses. They were believable, even though they existed in a parallel world – real and occult.
