Far to the north of ancient earth, was a Kingdom of Dogs, where lived a dog named Bo. Bo was very unpopular because he was different from all the other dogs.
He did not have a beautiful fur coat. He did not have parents, brothers, sisters, or cousins. Bo didn’t have even one friend. But, worse than all of that, Bo had lost his bark. In the Kingdom of Dogs, this was the most horrible disgrace! Bo’s inability to bark sparked a great amount of teasing from the other dogs. Even the puppies would join in and tease Bo.
