When we are young, we tend to want the world and all that it has to offer. At that young age, it is not unrealistic to think that way, especially because so much around us tells we can have it all if we just work for it. So, we set out on an ambitious path to try and gain all those “things” that we think will bring value to our lives. Time passes, more quickly than we might like it to, and suddenly we find that many of those “things” don’t have the meaning to us that they once had. This is called the age of realization. Do you have a comfortable home? There are many in the world who have no home. Do you have food on your table? There are many in the world who have none. Do you have people in your life that love you, despite you (LOL)? There are many in the world who have no one.

The only thing I would like to add here is – Do you have a dream? I am a great believer in dreams. I am a great believer in setting goals to reach for those dreams. So, if you have the simple things in life, and you have a dream, you are truly alive.

Talk to me, my dear FB friends – what are the simple things in your life that make you happy? what are your dreams? Have a wonderful day – your Writer on the Run on a cloudy Tuesday morning.
