Once, long ago, at the beginning of time, there was a Kingdom of Crocodiles where there lived a crocodile named Curtis.
Now Curtis Crock was a loner. He never liked to romp and play in the sluggish river water or along the grassy river bank with the other crocodiles. He had more important things to attend to––searching for food. Anything or anyone that got in Curtis’s way was bound to end up as his next meal.

Une fois, il y a très longtemps, il existait un Royaume de crocodiles où vivait un crocodile qui se nommait Curtis.
Maintenant, Curtis était un solitaire. Il n’aimait jamais gambader ni jouer dans l’eau stagnante de la rivière ou bien le long du rivage herbeux avec les autres crocodiles. Il avait à s’occuper de choses beaucoup plus importantes—comme chercher de la nourriture. Rien ni personne qui faisait obstacle à Curtis n’aboutissait forcément comme son prochain repas.
