Four Stars for Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty.
What goes on behind closed doors sometimes stays there for much too long. Beautiful Celeste, who everyone envies. Fiesty Madeline, who no one dares to cross. And new girl, Jane, coming to town with a dark secret. What happens in the pages of “Big Little Lies” is a story that can happen anywhere. The facade these women put on to the public … the murder … the unraveling of their lives as the pages turn … the murder … the secrets revealed … the murder … the gossip … the murder … the relationships between ex-partners, and new ones … the murder … game playing/two-faced-ness … the murder…
All of these build the story into one many of us can relate to, even if we might not want to admit such things happen around us, or to us. I am sure you will enjoy this book and despite some of the subject matter, I am sure you will get a chuckle out of the “gossip sections.” Worth the read and also worth watching the T.V. show based on the book.
