Mary Cushnie-Mansour‘s review
Five Stars for this gut wrenching thriller, “The Abduction” by Mark Gimenez! This story has a blend of the follies of a war no one wanted, the political games connected to the war, the victims of the war, and the extent those in power will go to in order to cover up their paths! The connections over the years – the questions as to why a young ten year old girl, Gracie, would be abducted. The connection between Gracie and her grandfather, Ben Brice, a war hero and former Green Beret – how their spiritual connection keeps hope alive for them both.
You might guess some of the scenes in this story, but I assure you that you will not guess them all. Be prepared to keep turning the pages – forget the television, forget housework, forget life for a few hours and immerse yourself in “The Abduction” – you will not be disappointed.
